Amanda R. Holden (Punzalan) (1989) was born on the island of Guam to Frank Punzalan and Mary Lujan and is the youngest of six. She currently a missionary in the Philippines.

As a kid, I remember being so inspired by picture books. I loved to draw and write, but I never knew one day I would be so passionate about it. I recently, dug into my old memory box and found a book that I wrote. It was entitled, My Sister. This rekindled my desire to continue writing children's picture books. 

 

In the last year or so, I found myself becoming more ambitious about my writing. So in 2013, while living in Texas, I wrote and illustrated a children's picture book called, Azyea's Gifts.

 

 I am now working on several children's books in hopes of creating more beautiful motivating stories that will inspire children to read. Wish me luck!
